Idna Ladies' Association
Established in 1998 by a group of women in Idna, a remote village in Hebron located southwest of the West Bank. This small local income-generation women project gave the women an opportunity to learn skills in product design, sewing, quality control, inventory, financial management and organizational skills.
The Association has grown from a single room to a fully equipped workshop. Many of the women in Idna are the sole family breadwinners. Their work with Idna Ladies’ Association, give their daughters an opportunity to receive a higher education, an opportunity that was not afforded to themselves.
